MIAMI, March 24, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Smart for Life, Inc. (Nasdaq: SMFL) (“Smart for Life” or the “Company”), a global leader in the development, marketing and manufacturing of nutritional products and Related, announced today that it is shipping more than 100,000 meal replacement bars to help those in need in the war-torn country of Ukraine.

This first shipment of Smart for Life aid is expected to leave Miami for Poland, with its final destination kyiv, where it will be distributed to Ukrainians on the ground. Smart for Life is partnering with the Ukrainian Sovereignty Fund (“USF”) to coordinate the extensive logistical and field expertise needed to deliver aid to Ukrainians.

The Ukraine Sovereignty Fund (USF) is a United States-based nonprofit organization focused on sourcing, coordinating, and delivering key supplies and services to those fighting for their lives on the streets from Ukraine. Working with a dedicated network of trusted suppliers, partners in Poland and coordinators in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Sovereignty Fund can identify, ship and distribute goods directly to specific areas and local organizations.
