Shipments from Iran’s Hamedan province increase by 70%

(MENAFN) The head of the province’s customs department said the value of shipments from Hamedan district increased by 70 percent in the first five months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-August 22), compared to the same period last year.

Javad Mohammadi also mentioned that the five-month shipment from the province jumped 22% in terms of mass.

He said the products have been shipped to 24 countries such as Iraq, Turkey, Pakistan, Russia, Bulgaria, Italy and Belgium.

As Ahmad Shanian, the head of the region’s industry, mining and trade department, previously stated, goods worth $21 million were shipped from Hamedan district in the first 3 month of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-June 21).

The official said that of the figures shown, $7.242 million were shipments from the province’s industrial sector, with an expansion of 112% on an annual basis.
