(MENAFN) The value of shipments from Hamedan district jumped 70% in the first five months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21 to August 22), compared to the same period last year, said the head of the province. Declared customs service.
Javad Mohammadi also said the five-month shipment from the district increased by 22% in terms of mass.
He said the products have been shipped to 24 countries such as Iraq, Turkey, Pakistan, Russia, Bulgaria, Italy and Belgium.
As Ahmad Shanian, the head of the province’s industry, mines and trade department, previously stated, goods worth $21 million were shipped from Hamedan district in the first 3 month of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-June 21).
The official said that of the mentioned number, $7.242 million was the shipment of the district’s industrial zone, with an expansion of 112% on an annual basis.
He announced that agricultural productions worth $3.091 million were shipped from Hamedan in the first 3 months, indicating a 50% drop from the same period last year.
