Police sniffer dog finds $32m cocaine shipment in Brazil

This is the shocking moment a police sniffer dog discovered a $32 million shipment of cocaine hidden in a cookie jar delivery in Rio de Janeiro.

Narcotics officers seized the massive shipment of cocaine after stopping a truck as part of a routine inspection on the President Durra Highway last Tuesday.

One of the cops led the pooch, named Enzo, into the trailer where he was able to detect 800 kilos of cocaine.

A 36-year-old man who was driving the cargo truck was taken into custody and charged with drug trafficking.

He could be sentenced to up to 15 years in prison if convicted.

Enzo’s cocaine bust was announced by President Jair Bolsonaro, who shared the video on his Twitter account.

The far-right leader revealed this was the third seizure of the Type A party drug in May by federal police in the country, confiscating 2.5 tonnes of cocaine, worth around 87 million on the streets.

Enzo was involved in an arrest on May 13 that led cops to 805 kilos of cocaine hidden inside a truck that was also stopped by President Dutra Highway.

The driver, also 36, was arrested and charged with drug trafficking.

He too faces a 15-year prison sentence if found guilty.
